Join us on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, for a hands-on art experience at La Casa in Vancouver’s Chinatown. In this unique workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to design your own 7.75” x 7.75” Mexican-style tile with enamel paint. Guided by the talented Serena Chu, an experienced visual artist and educator, this workshop is perfect for all ages and creative levels.

  • Guided instruction by Serena, where you’ll learn traditional techniques to design your tile
  • All materials provided, including tiles, paint, and tools

About the Instructor
Serena Chu is a visual artist who specializes in contemporary ceramic tableware and is passionate about making art accessible to all. With a background in mural painting and installation sculpture from York University, Serena is dedicated to creating a fun, community-oriented learning environment through her workshops.
