Langley, BC – The Rotary Clubs of Langley and Aldergrove invite the community to celebrate the 13th Annual International Women’s Day Luncheon on Saturday, March 8, 2025. This special event, held at Adrian’s At The Airport, will honor outstanding women in the Langley community while raising funds for the Ishtar Women’s Resource Centre.
Recognizing Women of Distinction in Langley
The luncheon will shine a spotlight on Women of Distinction, recognizing those who have made significant contributions through volunteerism, leadership, and community service. The Rotary Clubs encourage community members to nominate deserving women who have positively impacted Langley.
Keynote Speaker: Beverlee Rasmussen
The event will feature Beverlee Rasmussen, a highly respected small business coach and leadership expert, as the keynote speaker. With decades of experience empowering entrepreneurs and professionals, Beverlee will deliver an inspiring talk on leadership, resilience, and success.
An Afternoon of Networking, Celebration, and Giving Back
Attendees will enjoy a delicious lunch, an engaging award ceremony, and opportunities to support the cause through a 50/50 draw and an online silent auction. This volunteer-run, nonprofit event is made possible by generous sponsors, including the Rotary Club of Langley, Rotary Club of Langley Sunrise, Rotary Club of Langley Central, Rotary Club of Abbotsford, and CMB Lawyers.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Ishtar Women’s Resource Centre, an organization dedicated to supporting women and children affected by domestic violence.
