Event Overview:
This Spectacular Spring Day Camp hosted by A Rocha Canada invites kids to experience the wonders of nature during Spring Break. From March 24 to March 28, children ages 6-12 can immerse themselves in the great outdoors at the A Rocha Brooksdale Environmental Centre in Surrey, BC. Over the course of the 4-day camp, participants will explore a variety of natural ecosystems, including the wetland, forest, and farmland, while engaging in hands-on activities designed to promote learning and fun.
The camp’s daily schedule (from 9 AM to 3 PM) includes exploration, games, crafts, and music, ensuring an enriching and enjoyable experience. Children will have the opportunity to explore sustainable gardens, the river, and other natural habitats, gaining valuable knowledge about the environment. Throughout the program, children will also engage in skits and reflective activities focused on Creation Care, as A Rocha is a Christian environmental stewardship organization.
The camp emphasizes outdoor play and discovery, regardless of weather conditions. Participants are encouraged to come prepared with hats, gloves, waterproof jackets, and boots. It’s important for kids to dress appropriately for outdoor adventures, rain or shine.
